Jeremy Boulogne (FRA)

Born August 14, 1974. Citizen of France. Gold medallist, 25-29, 2000 ITU World Duathlon Championship. Unmarried, works in retail sales. Background in both running and cycling, so "it was natural for me to take up the sport of duathlon". Made the top 50 at nationals in first year (1996), top contender ever since. French national champion in both 1999 and 2000. Assesses cycling as primary strength, but has run 5k in 15:30 and 10k in 33 minutes. Credits success to coach Pierre Watel. Culinary preferences run to pasta and cakes, but stays clear of dishes with sauces. Admires Charles DeGaulle, both for his role in World War II and the modernization of France thereafter.
