Exhibition Clydesdale World Championship

Edmonton has added the Clydesdale weight class competition to the World Championship as an exhibition event. The technical committee of ITU has granted Clydesdale athletes a two-year exhibition class competition. Following the two events a review of participation will be undertaken and a decision whether or not to make Clydesdale an official class for 2003 will be made

Edmonton is delighted to welcome the Clydesdale athletes. Entry forms for this open event are available on the www.triedmonton2001 website. Entries are limited to 200 athletes and will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

The 'Clydesdale' categories are as follows:
Men: 39 Years & Under (200 pounds)
Women: 39 Years & Under (150 pounds)
Men: 40 Years & Over (200 pounds)
Women: 40 Years & Over (150 pounds)
