Note: Any group with more than 50 participants will be divided into two new groups. For example, if 40-49 yrs men group has more than 50 participants, it will be divided into 40-44yrs group and 45-49yrs group.
5. Relay Team:
Juniors Relay: Age under 19
Adults Relay: 20-34yrs, 35-49yrs, 50yrs+
Each Team shall be formed by 3 competitors, 1 of which must be of opposite sex. Each Competitor will do 1 segment, e.g. swim or bike or run.
All age as on December 31, 2004.
TIME LIMITS:
Olympic Distance: Swim: 50min. Swim+Cycle: 2hrs. 30min. Total: 3hrs.50min.
Sprint Distance: Swim: 25min. Swim+Cycle: 1hrs. 15min. Total: 1hrs.55min.

3. Finish Medal: Competitors having finished the race within the TIME LIMITS will be awarded a Finish Medal and Result Certification, provided no fouls against the Rule.

REGISTRATION:
1. Registration Formula:
1) Anyone who would like to make an application should take notice of the Competitors Agreement (Attach 1), and acknowledge all of its clauses. All participants must sign his/her name on the Competitors Agreement before entering the race.
2) Fill the Entry Form (Attach 2) and send it back to China Triathlon Sports Association by fax or email along with Passport Copy.
3) Entry Deadline: May 10, 2003
2. Entry Fee:
50RMB (Only for Age Groups and Relay Team), to be paid upon registration at the Official Hotel.
All participating athletes will receive Swim Cap, Souvenir T Shirt, Sunbonnet, Pass Tickets to Award Ceremony, and Finish Medal (conditional), Turkish towel (conditional), Result Certification (conditional).
TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMODATION:
1. Closest International Airport: Nanjing International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport
Those who want pick-up at the airport should submit flight details in advance.
2. Official Hotel: New Century Hotel. (See attach 3 for detailed information)
EQUIPMENTS: The equipments of competitors (Bicycle, helmet, uniform etc.) must abide by ITU Rules and Regulations. Mountain bikes will be allowed for Age Group and Relay Team athletes.
DOPING CONTROL: To operate according to ITU Doping Control Rules.
