The RIO SALADO TRIATHLON, a USAT RACE FOR ATHENS RACE is scheduled for May 23 at Tempe Town Lake in Tempe, Arizona. ITU Ranking Points will be awarded as well as a $20,000.00 prize purse. Prize money will be paid 10 deep and will be paid equally to men and women.

ITU rules will apply and ITU certified officials will be on the course
