2003 Prize Money Formula

The prize money formula for the 2003 season:

  • World Cup events with prize money of $65,000, prize money will be awarded to the top 10.
  • World Cup events with prize money of $80,000, prize money will be awarded to the top 15.
  • For the World Championships - Queenstown, New Zealand - the prize money is $200,000, prize money will be awarded to the top 15.
  • International Events: If the prize money is less than $25,000, the event organiser and ITU may agree to award to the top 5 only. If the prize money is greater than $25,000, the top 10 will be awarded.
  • Duathlon, Winter and all other events: The same standard as the international events will apply - if greater than $25,000 then top 10, if less, the event organiser and ITU may agree to award to the top 5.
