Racing now for my place of origin, Wales, I have made loads of new friends
and embarked on the beginning of my triathlon career as a professional.
Living and training in Bath (South-west England) I have great training partners (Anneliese Heard, Michelle Dillon, Beth Thomson, Stuart Hayes, Richard Allen and "the great" Simon Lessing - who to be honest is just a bit too quick for me to actually train with!), support staff (Graeme Maw and Richard Hobson), and a great coach....Chris Jones.
My training and racing schedule is quite intense, but there is always time for my boyfriend of 2 years, Torsten Abel. Not a British name, but a triathlete of Germany, who is also racing on the professional triathlon circuit. We combine racing and training venues to see each other on a regular basis.
