World Cup Season Set to Begin in Two Weeks

We are now just two weeks away from the start of the ITU World Cup Season in Ishigaki, Japan on April 13. The Ishigaki event will be followed, on April 26, by the popular ITU World Cup event in St. Anthony’s, Florida. Athlete start lists for both events are now available on www.triathlon.org Just in time for the start of the World Cup season ITU has secured an official photography company, Spomedis, featuring triathlon photographers, Frank Wechsel and Silke Insel They will provide high quality, unique images for each event. Loreen Barnett, ITU Executive Director stated; “We are excited to have Spomedis complete the strong media package that we feel will showcase the phenomenal 2003 World Cup series." Gallery images will be available on www.triathlon.org within two hours of the completion of each World Cup event. Media requiring high-resolution versions of any event images can contact ITU directly. Spomedis brings extensive triathlon photography experience to ITU based on their work with Germany’s “Triathlon” magazine.
