In
preparation for the next World Championships of Long
and Olympic distance, there should be a place for
our athletes with a disability on every national team.
There should be a place to enter athletes with a disability
on the entry form, and all ITU World Championships
events must have a physically challenged category.
In
the French Federation, we have developed a structure
which allows us to increase the number of athletes
in the two disciplines. I am requesting, Mr. President
that you instruct ETU to follow the road that you
have opened, so that we can find our place in the
sport that we love.
I
also expect a lot from your intervention in the Paralympic
Organisation so that in three years time we have a
triathlon in Athens Paralympic Games.
