Dmitri
Gaag (KAZ)
D.O.B
- 20/03/71 |
 |
| Fourth in Sydney - . Winner of
the 1999 ITU Triathlon World Championships and Kazakhstan's
'athlete of the year' in the same year, Gaag has made a name
for himself as a tough competitor. He frequently arrives the
night prior to a race, a habit that has resulted in more lost
bikes than competitions-. Dimitry has raced to success on borrowed
equipment on more than one occasion! He has three World Cup
podiums this year and was third at the 2004 World Championships.
He is currently the World Cup #1 ranked athlete, and an odds-on
favourite for a medal at the Olympic Games. |
