Blatchford competes for Australia but has dual citizenship with
Great Britain. In 2003 she has proven herself a threat for the podium,
and her primary goal is to make the 2004 Australian Olympic team.
Her career race highlight up to this time is winning the Gamagori
ITU World Cup - an accomplishment that left her unable to distinguish
if she was dreaming or not. Outside of triathlon she is studying
to earn her marine biology degree on a very part-time basis.
Highlights:
2003 Gamagori ITU World Cup - 1st
2003 Tongyeong ITU World Cup - 2nd
2003 Nice ITU World Cup - 3rd
2003 Byron Bay ITU International Race - 1st
2002 Makuhari ITU World Cup - 3rd
