Sheila Taormina (USA)

One of the fastest swimmers on the circuit, Sheila Taormina, from Michigan, won an Olympic Gold Medal as part a 4 x 200m swim relay team in the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. She is part of the strong team of American women and can usually be counted on for a podium finish. Sheila is one of the favourites to grab an Olympic medal in Athens, already claiming the gold in the World Chmapionships in Madeira this May.
