Start Mechanism:

Purpose built start ramp in waist deep water.

Swim Conditions:

Mersey River (2 x 750m laps)

Water Temperature

Wetsuit swim (expected water temp 18-20 degrees C.)

Cycle Course

Elite - 8 x 5km laps over flat course with 1 main short/sharp climb and fast descent. CBD and surrounds circuit. (16 x past main crowd & grandstand).

Age Group – Out and back along coast to Ulverstone and return on undulating course.

Run Course:

3 x 3.3km laps – Flat run along river foreshore following sealed bike paths and returning on sealed road.

Athletes Briefing

Elite and Under 23: 5.00 pm Friday 20th Feb.

Age Group: 1.05pm Saturday 21st Feb.

Plus written briefing in race kit!

All race registrations are at the Devonport Convention Centre/Town Hall 50metres from the Transition Area located in Rooke street.
