ITU News Update - 14 May, 2004

On this weekend - Nanjing ITU International Triathlon - China

The start list has now been posted for the Nanjing ITU International Triathlon, China.

In the men's event New Zealand's Kris Gemmell is the top ranked athlete; Kris is looking strong following a top 20 finish in last weekend's ITU Triathlon World Championships. Danill Sapunov (KAZ), currently ranked 32nd in the world is another man to watch in China.

In the women's event Yekatarina Shatnaya (KAZ) and Hongni Wang (CHN) are thetop ranked women. Wang, a strong cyclist, finished 32nd in last weekend's World Championships.
