All the best in Panticosa for Saturday’s Winter World Cup Final.

Panticosa, Spain - For immediate release: The top 4 women and the top 6 men will compete in front of Panticosa Resort to win the final points of 2003 ITU Winter World Cup Final.

Panticosa Resort is a beautiful place from the renaissance and the 19^th century buildings are being recovering (directed by well-known architects) to become one of the best tourist mountain resorts around the world. At this very moment, while every one is looking to the future, the winter triathlon has the last stage in this corner of the Pyrenees.

The main group of winter triathletes stayed in Spain during this week not only skiing, biking or running, but also trekking.  The World Cup Final start list is ome of the best of the year. They will compete for the 9.000 € prize money and also for the $ 5000 USD for the overall season pool.

The combination of sun, hard snow, excellent triathletes, huge mountains and nice buildings will offer all the spectators a world class event. The Winter World Cup Series will finish this weekend after visiting Switzerland, Slovakia, Germany and Italy during this 2003 winter season.

Spain’s Juan Carlos Apilluelo and Anna Serra will attract the attention of all the locals as well as the media as they try to bring home gold for the home country..
