At the ski stadium in Štrbské Pleso

REGISTRATION:
In Hotel Helios
• Friday March 4th, 2005 2:00pm – 4:00pm
• Saturday March 5th, 2005 7:00pm – 9:00pm

RACE PACKAGE: (athletes will receive the following in the package):
- Race number
- Number for bike
- Sticker for skis
- Sticker for helmet
- Ticket for the pasta buffet in Hotel Helios on Friday 4th, at 7:00 p.m.
- Timing chip

TIMING CHIPS:
Upon picking up the bikes after the race the timing chips have to be returned.

RACE BRIEFINGS: Mandatory for all athletes
- Elite, Juniors, Age Group:
Friday March 4th, 2005 4:00pm – 5:00pm in Hotel Helios
- Word Cup Relay:
Saturday March 5th, 2005 7:00pm – 9:00pm in Hotel Helios

RACE COURSES:
Identical run-and bike-course that is completely on snow. The course is already signed out.
Spikes are allowed. A good profile on bike-tires and running shoes is recommended.
Note: For any changes of courses, please check the information board.

COURSES INSPECTION AND TRAINING:
Can only be done on skis. No biking or running are allowed!

Men Elite:
Running 8.00 km – 5 laps
Biking 13.60 km – 7 laps
X-C Skiing 10,00 km – 6 laps

Women Elite:
Running 8.00 km – 5 laps
Biking 13,60 km – 7 laps
X-C Skiing 10,00 km – 6 laps

Age-Groups:
Running 7,20 km – 4 laps
Biking 9.00 km – 5 laps
X-C Skiing 6.50 km – 4 laps

Junior Men and Women:
Running 7.20 km – 4 laps
Biking 9.00 km – 5 laps
X-C Skiing 6.50 km – 4 laps

Relay – for all categories:
Running 3.60 km – 2 laps
Biking 7,20 km – 4 laps
X-C Skiing 7,20 km – 4 laps

Thursday, March 3rd
10:00 - 15:00: Unofficial training (not on the race courses)

Friday, March 4th
10:00 - 13:00: Official training
14:00 - 16:00: Official check-in / registration.
16:00 - 17:00: Official meeting with Team Captains and Racers; hotel Helios
17:00 - 18:00: Dinner for ITU Winter Triathlon World Cup participants.
18:00: Opening Ceremony of the ITU Winter Triathlon World Championships
in Strbske Pleso.

Saturday, March 5th
08:00 - 10:45: Check-in
11:00: Start of Women Elite Category.
13:00: Start of Men Elite Category.
- Check in: 15 Minutes before individual start the Transition Area will be closed.
- The winner presentation and unofficial award ceremony will take place in the finish area 10 minutes after the competitions.

18:00 - 19:00: Official meeting with Team Captains in the Hotel Helios
19:00 - 21:00: Official registration for Relays in the Hotel Helios
19:00: Pasta Party – Hotel Helios
Official Price Giving ceremony of the ITU Winter Triathlon and World Cup Winners.

Sunday, March 6th:
11:00: Start of the World Championships - Relays
13,00: Start of Junior Category and Age Groups
- Check in: 15 Minutes before individual start the Transition Area will be closed.
14:00: Official Awards Ceremony for Relays, Juniors and Age-Groups at the Finish Area
15:00: Official closing of the ITU Winter Triathlon World Championships officials in the Hotel Helios, with disco and raffle. Athletes, organizers, officials and guests are welcomed.

ENTRY FEES:
- Elite 80 €
- Relay 120 € / team
- Juniors 70 €
- Age Groups 70 €

PRIZE MONEY:
Total: 12.000 Euro
10.000 Euro for the Overall (Elite and U23) Men and Women top 10 individual
2.000 Euro for the Overall Men and Women top 3 Team Relay

ACCOMMODATION:
4 nights (from Wednesday to Sunday) is in Hotel HELIOS, Štrbské Pleso, for all foreign participants. Price – 30 Euro / person / night included breakfast.

AIRPORT TRANSFER:
From Airports Wien or Bratislava or Kosice or Budapest will be organized.
